McDOLE, Sarah Alice Rutan - Putnam

Funeral services were held Saturday at Chastain funeral home for Sarah Alice McDole, 70, who died Wednesday at her home in Roachdale. Mrs. McDole was born in Clarks Hill, Indiana, January 2, 1873, a daughter of Calvin and Sarah Rutan. She married April 4, 1895, to Harry A. McDole near Mulberry. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Edna White, Elkhart, Mrs. Lola Yauch Olds, Alberta, Canada, a son, Herbert, at home, brother, William C. Rutan, of Ft. Chester, New York, sisters, Mrs. May Bailor, Frankfort, and Mrs. Catherine Johnson, Clarks Hill. Burial was made in Roachdale cemetery   --- thanks so much to Marilyn Walker who so graciously donated her Roachdale Times obituary collection - greatly appreciated!!
